KITT achieved cult status from young and old fans alike for its ability to speak with its driver, jump obstacles, drive silently, shield bullets and fire rockets. Its fictional performance statistics made for interesting viewing, too: the ‘turbocharged’ V8 engine theoretically enabled KITT to hit 0-60mph in two seconds and a top speed well in excess of 200mph.Two please!
